ALMAVIS builds and maintains websites and manages Google Ads campaigns for businesses in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
The short version. We do not sell data. We do not use it for advertising other than the advertising we run for our own clients. On the websites we build we count how many people tapped WhatsApp or the phone number — not who they were. We collect business contact details that companies have already published themselves, and we stop contacting any company that asks us to.

For anything in this policy, write to us on WhatsApp. That is the fastest way to reach a person, and it is how most of our clients prefer to talk to us.
When you visit a website ALMAVIS built for one of our clients, we record actions, not identities:
We do not store your name, your phone number, your email address or the contents of your messages from these pages. When you tap WhatsApp, your message goes directly to the business — it does not pass through us.
Websites we build may also load Google tags (Google Ads, and in some cases Google Analytics). Google sets its own cookies and processes data under its own terms. You can read Google's policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
You can clear the identifier at any time by clearing your browser storage for that site. The site works normally without it.
We identify businesses that may need a website using information those businesses have published themselves — public profiles on social media, public business listings, and their own websites. This is typically the business name, the category of business, the area it operates in, a public phone number and publicly posted photographs of the business or its products.
We use it for one purpose: to prepare a sample website and show it to that business, once.
If you do not want us to contact you, reply once and say so, or write to us on WhatsApp. We will delete the sample website, remove your details, and not contact you again. We do not need a reason and we will not ask for one.
For businesses that work with us we hold what is needed to do the work: business name and address, the owner's name, phone number and email, the materials the client sends us (logos, photographs, videos, texts), the identifier of the client's Google Ads account, agreed budget limits, and performance data from the campaigns we run for them.
We never ask for and never store passwords to our clients' accounts. Access to a Google Ads account is granted by invitation from a manager account, which the client accepts and can withdraw at any time from their own account. Clients pay Google directly; we do not hold their advertising budget.
These providers operate outside Tanzania, so data may be processed abroad. We use established providers who publish their own data protection terms.
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Tanzania's Personal Data Protection Act gives you these rights, and we honour them regardless of where you are.
Write to us on WhatsApp at +255 668 544 942. We answer within seven working days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission in Tanzania.
Access to our systems is limited to ALMAVIS staff and protected by passwords and encrypted connections. We do not store payment card details of any kind. We do not store passwords belonging to our clients.
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data about children. If you believe we hold data about a child, tell us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy we update the date at the top of the page. For changes that affect our clients, we tell them directly.

Tunazitumia kwa kusudi moja: kuandaa tovuti ya mfano na kuionyesha kwa biashara hiyo, mara moja.
Kama hutaki tuwasiliane nawe, jibu mara moja useme hivyo, au tuandikie WhatsApp. Tutafuta tovuti ya mfano, tutaondoa taarifa zako, na hatutawasiliana nawe tena. Hatuhitaji sababu na hatutakuuliza.
Kwa biashara zinazofanya kazi nasi tunahifadhi kinachohitajika kufanya kazi: jina na anwani ya biashara, jina la mmiliki, namba ya simu na barua pepe, vitu anavyotutumia (nembo, picha, video, maandishi), namba ya akaunti ya Google Ads, mipaka ya bajeti iliyokubaliwa, na matokeo ya kampeni.
Hatuombi wala kuhifadhi nywila za akaunti za wateja. Ruhusa ya kuingia kwenye akaunti ya Google Ads hutolewa kwa mwaliko kutoka akaunti ya msimamizi; mteja anaukubali na anaweza kuuondoa wakati wowote. Wateja hulipa Google moja kwa moja; hatushiki fedha zao za matangazo.
Watoa huduma hawa wapo nje ya Tanzania, hivyo taarifa zinaweza kushughulikiwa nje ya nchi.
